This page explains what hardware each DBS system may need. It is not a shopping cart. It is a planning guide for choosing the correct counter, POS, payment, printer, scanner, display, and workstation setup.

Hardware should be confirmed during setup because each business has different counter space, connection type, payment processor, label/receipt needs, and number of terminals.

Counter / POS station
Touch terminal, all-in-one station, or workstation depending on product workflow and available counter space.
Receipt and label printing
Receipt printers for checkout and label/tag printers for tailoring, inventory, or retail workflows where needed.
Barcode scanner
Retail barcode scanner for LifoSoft and optional scanner use for gift cards, inventory, or counter lookup workflows.
Cash drawer
Recommended when the business accepts cash and needs cash movement and drawer accountability.
Payment terminal
Credit card terminal selection depends on processor and integration method. Confirm during sales/setup review.
Backoffice workstation
Recommended for owners/managers who manage inventory, reports, users, imports, and daily closeout.
